It genuinely astonishes me how many batters have better eyes than the umpires and they're watching the ball come in at a way tougher angle. So many of these issues could have been avoided by a robot ump calling balls and strikes.
Always amazes me when someone gets caught cheating, and then has the audacity to get angry at the ump. Like getting pulled over for going 80 in a 60, and upset at the cop for giving you a ticket....seriously, wtf?
Let's see if Puig acts like an idiot thug when he's playing jailhouse ball. I'm sure his attitude will be changed right quick. No real big loss to the MLB
@TooTall Tim In November 2022, Puig pled guilty to lying to federal law enforcement officers regarding bets that he placed with an illegal sports betting operation. He faces up to five years in prison. Later that month, he changed his plea to not guilty.
They really don't make umps like they used to. MFkers all looked like rejected He-Man action figures that warped during production back in the day, fabulous hair and all.
Maybe I am just naive, but as a pitcher why would you have your "grip improving substsnce" on top of your forearm where it would catch the overhead lights and be obvious? Seems like they wsnt to be tossed out.
Saaaaaame clips over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
I'll try. It's comparable to losing a case in court and when you're going out the door you piss on the courthouse. These videos are inconclusive because you can't hear the dialog before getting tossed. This guy disagreed with the call, and for some reason. felt it allowed him to piss on the plate, or UMP.. Having words is one thing, but when a Primadona stops play stomps his feet and blats like a bitch he is saying look at me a badass I'm so bad I don't care what the rules are I'm going to carry on just because I can and He thinks he has risen above the call, team, Ump's, fans, and the game himself. They make millions of dollars to play a game. All they have to do is not fight, and have respect. They could do it but they need more attention. Take a close eye on George Brett. I don't know if I have ever seen anything like that on the street much less at a game, He turned into the hulk over a call that was at the time nebulous. There is more than a good chance he was wrong, yet no umpire is going to show him up. There was more than a fair chance he was wrong yet look at him. It really sells though ESPN makes millions with these moments who intern pay MLB who lease access to the rights to the highest bidder for years to come. Players can't run the game if they do it's no longer a game.
No you should not be allowed to put anything on the ball or your hand they’ve never done on baseball legally why do it now? That’s the most stupidest thing I’ve ever heard come out of some commentators a mouth
