Thank you Kendrick! You dropped that album 1 week before my daughter got born You dont know how much it means to me Not to mention this track How stressed out i was Working 15 hours shifts Walking around like a zombie. Just to make sure my unborn baby is good And hoped the baby mama would still be with me after i wasnt there most of the time she was pregnant due work And sometimes the seperation of difderent opinions Your voice and album gave me strenght and more vision what i do with my life And a memory for life at a time i needed a role model the most. I know in one of your songs You said "kendrick let you think about it but he is not your savior" For me you are the man and role model i needed most I dont need to mention how long i have been hearing listening your music 97 generation Greetings from austria Michael
@Inshal hey man first of all im very stoked that some really care. Thats gotta be love. My daughter is healthy! Well i joined military since june. And iam saving the money as motivation for her. I am trying still to be with the baby mama. Even though its hard seing her and my daughter only 1 and a half day every 6 days. Its very tough sometimes. Sacrafice my time to see them smile. In same time my mama too I took care of her financially Cause she got scammed And my siblings dont support her like me And i am the youngest of 3! Sometimes i really feel like i neglect myself Cause i only take time for myself working out Or playing basketball Thats when i dont feel like a soldier. I am not David Goggins wtf. Hope for better days to come. Hope you are good yall
@E Aalders get that wax out ur ears. Kodak is actually very poetic. Back in the days i use to say the same thing about Gucci Mane then I got the wax out my ears and started really listening lol
Sometimes it's about relaxing and being real to yourself. One thing I took from this album is about being kind to yourself and letting go of situations that are outside of your scope of control.
I like how Kendrick sees the same think in Kodak that I do, he actually has talent, he just need to be around more people like Kendrick to bring out his best
@Carl Johnson Jr that's an opinion and not a fact, and DUE to that fact, that's impossible for me to answer your question, with it being based solely off of opinion....next question..
💯 Aye bro listen im just tryna make a way out of the HOOD like my biggest inspiration KENDRICK if y'all got a minute to check out my music i would really appreciate it I think I really got the talent to make it i swear you wont be disappointed IM NEXT UP🙏🏽💯💯
This song really helped me get through alot of stuff I love Kendrick Lamar he always been the realest in the game never will no one convince me otherwise 😊😊❤
I'm loving every part of the song great collab. Especially love the hook because kendrick is the only one who can pull it off and have it sound right. I have always been a fan of both so love to see them together.
Kodak really made it. People who don't listen to him dont know. That man is something special and I'm happy Kendrick and drake and them see it. This beat fuckin crazy btw
@hannahswrld what the hell is Doris day 50’s music. Also I’m here because i like Kodak, and i like Kendrick, but this song just is not it. Obviously you can’t know that you don’t like something UNTIL you check it out l, so that’s why i was here
This song doesn’t literally mention silent hill references even though he says “silence I’m stressed out” but for those who played the game it’s very psychological, and introspective. Silent hill (the place in the game) is a personally hell for the person who gets drawn into it. In order for the person to escape they have to face their sins basically. When looking at the album as a whole and the way Kendrick is addressing the sins of the nation like the way men are treated/viewed in society, or in this song particular there’s a lot of talk about struggles with fake friends and money. This is only from observation don’t count me on it
Wow, that’s quite the observation and perception. I’m intrigued with your take on it. But I bet it’s close to your theory yet more generic , not simple but generic meaning the game can be completed if focused. No?

Drake gets on everyone new projects. It doesn’t really matter but Kendrick don’t. He must seen something in him. I really didn’t notice that they sound so much alike until now.
Ain’t tryna say ur wrong but how is the beat inspired by silent hill. I thought the relation to silent hill was that the games are about facing ur inner demons.
this young brother has an old school spirit. I'm feeling his music, and an old head like me goes back to the days of the "Sugar Hill Gang" this is whats up!!!!
I wish more of that melody on the keys in the last few seconds of the song was in the instrumental... or got to ride out more into solo. It gave the beat that last push that gives it just enough life and character.
Kodak really surprised me with how well he kept up with a virtuoso like Kendrick. he dont deserve the flack he got as the rookie he was back in 2016. Biggest banger off the album
