It feels like JuJu is an upgrade from Meyers but the guy flourishes as #2 WR. If Patriots can't land a true #1 WR to take the load off from JuJu's shoulders, he is going to be the sad version of himself when he was with the Steelers with AB's departure from the squad.

@scott adkins the Patriots haven't drafted skill talent the last 20 years, outside of Gronk no elite WRs or TEs . Brady helped cover that up. Without him it sure is being exposed

This is because Mac is not Brady, so you have to pay to prop Mac up. If Mac was Brady you could get away with less expensive pieces. Not sure why that was missed or not really discussed in the original take.

Herd refuses to acknowledge that Myers got the same deal. He signed with the josh mcdaniels his old coach. This is a Bill move…he literally signed another player with the same contract. Now he just has to prove that….that ju ju coached up will be the better pick up. It’s not hard to see…bill thinks he is the best coach ever and his ego is always about winning little battles with his players and other coaches. He makes move based on resentments. Lately he isn’t winning so now it’s just Bill and his ego trying to prove everyone wrong.
