The PGA TOUR’s Regular Season wraps up at the Wyndham Championship as players have one last chance to battle it out for their place in the FedExCup Playoffs. After winning a six-man playoff last year, Kevin Kisner returns to defend his title. The American has six top-10 finishes this season but will be looking to finish strong this week as he bids for a fifth PGA TOUR title. Adam Scott, Roger Sloan and Si Woo Kim are the other three players from last year’s playoff returning to Sedgefield Country Club. Si Woo Kim won this tournament in 2016 and after two top-15 finishes at The Open Championship and Rocket Mortgage Classic, he’ll be hoping for another successful week in North Carolina. Will Zalatoris is making his third Wyndham Championship appearance as he tries to capitalize on his last chance to finish the season in the Comcast Business TOUR TOP 10. Other notable names to look out for include J.T. Poston (2019 champion), United States Presidents Cup Captain Davis Love III (three-time champion), Sungjae Im, and European major champions Danny Willett and Shane Lowry.

If you win your first PGA event at a younger age than Tiger, I say you get to have your nickname on the scoreboard like Tiger.

Should have started this video off with his quad on #1. I would have folded up like a rusty lawn chair after an opening hole like that.

On pga youtube we get a guy putting for 15 minutes, on LIV youtube we get a whole 15 hour tournament live. The golf fans will start voting soon.....

Jeez, Koreans are definitely next level. Great to see asians being good at a major American sporting organization. Also, I noticed that majority of the players in this PGA highlight are Korean. Did all the non-Korean players go to LIV or something??

@Incognito BTD japan has the second most golf courses in the entire world. i’m pretty sure their golf culture is more than big enough
Incognito BTD

Mostly because Korea is the only Asian country that’s wealthy enough, and has enough space, to support a golf culture. China and Japan don’t have enough space, and other countries are just way too poor.

its just my opinion, but perhaps if the PGA tour made it a world game, instead of just being captain America, it would get more interesting? i think the liv tour is going to beat them to it..?

I’m thinking his ceiling is that of Zach Johnson, Webb Simpson, or Brendan Todd (which is still fine). He hits it way too short to be relevant in a major or big tournament with all the big dogs. For instance, his ball speed with driver is around 158-163. That’s way too slow. Some may point to Morikawa, but even he is around Tour average and is an elite iron player. Kim is neither of these, unfortunately. He’s an accurate player and had a great putting week. I just don’t think he’ll be a great player on the PGA Tour. Hopefully I’m wrong!
Some Dude
Some Dude ヶ月 前
@normalstuff But Spieth has always been around Tour average ball speed and distance and now he’s above average. Same with Morikawa. Tom Kim is well below. As another commenter said above, I think he needs to gain 10 mph ball speed or he won’t have nearly the success he could have, but he needs to do it like Fitzpatrick did it and retain his accuracy. Hard to do but looks like it can be done. As for proximity to the hole, that will drop off in bigger tournaments when distance matters and when the big boys play. This tournament he won only had a couple of good players in it.
normalstuff ヶ月 前
The knock on spieth was distance, that was 3 majors ago. The kid has serious game, look at the proximity to the hole stats. A game can be made in many ways
Some Dude
Some Dude ヶ月 前
@H they will become extinct eventually. As to your Berkshire comment, no because distance isn’t everything. It’s a large part of it. That’s why Cam Young and Will Zalatoris are doing so well on tour. What I’m saying is we’ll eventually get to the point where the norm will be guys hitting like Rory and above. It’s just the natural progression of the sport. Golf won’t be full on like basketball and football, but it will eventually get close. Might be decades before but it will, especially as athletes get more interested with golf and decide not to get hurt in football etc.
H ヶ月 前
@Some Dude they will not become extinct because not every PGA course is a bomber's paradise. Otherwise Kyle Berkshire would be world no. 1.
