At 45 yrs old, some of the younger generation can't understand how folks our age react in jubilation when 3000 makes a lyrical appearance. Add to that I'm a born and raised NC boy, so there a sense of pride that comes with calling J. Cole one of ours. The hip-hop gods heard our prayers and blessed our ears and souls with this one.

I lost my Mother 4 years ago, Andre's verse makes me want to send this song to my Brother whom I haven't spoken to since we buried our Mother...
