I watch a wide range of vids and they all have similar issues, they have to tip toe and watch everything (like we are children) and still might get demonetized for basically no reason. Of course conservative and gun channels have it the worst. But one guy who makes gaming vids had all his vids flagged and demonized for violence or cursing. Its so infuriating to watch a vid about a m rated game and can't watch ppls heads explode. Or can't say that word ect. But make a music vid and you can get away with basically anything and it's not age restricted.

@GodlessGhost yes he does, they can demonetized them for their double standards, but we (supporters) will continue to buy his merch and support him in Patreon. They have no problem supporting rappers, that talk about raping, or drugs, but JPvid has an issue with educational purposes? It's a one way United States at this point. Even if JPvid strikes, or demonetized his content, people will always be there after to help. Even if they remove his channel, why should we all collectively let that bring us down .. between him, Brandon, Matt, and others we could make our own streaming site. Content creators don't need JPvid at this point, so that's my point. JPvid will be obsolete within a few years, I'm just hoping someone with a brain makes it, not a re branded knock off with these same double standards. Just my opinion, only time will tell what happens.

@Ted Naparala It's not just a site you need to create. Data centers and viewership are what make youtube possible and lucrative for creators. It takes a lot of capital and years to build that up. You're basically saying you want to create a new youtube, but no one has even started that yet at this point in time. At least none that are promising. JPvid basically has the world by the balls. Something like patreon helps, but you need to already be popular to get enough subscribers to make a living off that, and that's usually done through youtube.

@Red Riot Gaming I meant it more for the overall platform. GunTube has been hit with like 20 different waves of demonitization. A lot of other creators I watch outside of GunTube have only been hit majorly the one time. This seems as bad as that first time.

Good gawd I despise what JPvid has become. Used to be able to watch dudes shoot full auto rifles, talk like adults talk with those naughty words and everything, watch tutorials on how to modify guns, videos on whatever were just fine, you could cuss in the stupid comments section and now creators can't say such a variety of words that aren't even cuss words, just unpleasant things that JPvid apparently thinks they need to protect grown adults from hearing. Some videos end up being like a damn puzzle trying to figure out all the words they have to abbreviate or not say out loud. Ridiculous.

Any tech company goes through the growth phase and then at one point they have to mature. JPvid has now "matured", a lot of things are looked over in the growth phase but this is what it was meant to become.

As I'm sure you are aware, but in the event you have not done it already. Save your videos to a separate storage so you dont lose all the work put into making the videos you already have over the 10 years. Theres been a few youtubers who lost all their old stuff and bcuz youtube removed their channel everything was wiped out. Hope everything goes well tho

You'll basically have to do your videos with everything already equipped, inserted and set up regarding magazines/clips, attachments and any 'alterations' from here on out. Lot of editing and consideration going forward. You'll be fine Matt :) keep on keeping on!

DemoRanch is one of the main reasons I watch JPvid. They seriously need to remember that it’s creators like you Matt that draws people into watching JPvid in the first place. If the only creator you watch is DemoRanch and other channels like it, then YT doesn't care about you. YT has tens of millions of channels and they care about advertising dollars and data. Putting a few hundred channels (or even thousands) out will not impact their bottom line one bit.

This is the best lifestyles of the rich and famous episode. I mean, anyone who can afford a hotel suite like that in Vegas is doing pretty damn good financially. There is the recent playstore app class action lawsuit, that have impose legal grounds for YT, but it's not directly related to YT's marketspace nor its way of content monitoring policies.

Rumble is growing, supports the 1st Amendment. I wish more channels go over there. JPvid has no problem as long as it's TV or a Movie, maybe every video should be a TV show or a Movie or at least labeled as such. You can watch almost anything on youtube if it's TV or Movie, like their rules exempt them. They do the same thing for documentaries. How does VICE get away with it?

This is exactly why even though I have a ton of ideas I have never quit my day job to try to get wealthy off JPvid. When you have a company like this that doesn't know how to keep their nose out of politics it is too much of a risk. This could be a blessing in disguise if JPvid ends up pushing enough like minded content creators and followers off to another platform. Creators could be a little more free again. Right now you can't even explain proper safety checks without risk of stepping on a hidden policy landmine.

As JPvid (and other platforms) has become increasingly hostile to anything with which they don’t agree, I’ve struggled with the notion of leaving the platform by deleting my account and doing whatever I can to communicate why. The struggle is mostly because I want to continue to support the creators while you guys are still here, but at some point a message needs to be sent. 😕

Yeah enforcing a new rule on previously uploaded videos just isn’t fair to the creators at all. If they start doing that, it’s only going to snowball into more rules that can jeopardize accounts in the future. The solution would be to do what guys like Steve Will Do It have done, which is find an alternate uploading platform like Rumble or something of the like in order to be able to freely upload the content you want your subscribers to see.

What I have been doing it marking them private then going through them with the YT video editor and blurring out the mag changes. It is an incredible, time consuming, pain in the butt, even for my little channel. However, I am not going to loose my channel over it, and it allows you to keep you views.

I watch a lot of your stuff, Kentucky, and KG, KG has been having a lot of trouble with JPvid recently. He deleted all of his gun videos to avoid having a third strike and losing all his channels forever. I figured it was a matter of time before all kinds of other gun channels started having issues with JPvid’s new regulations that they didn’t even really announce this year. Yeah KG mentions that if you insert a 30 round magazine or screw on a suppressor, that’s a flag. It’s insane, he literally deleted a years worth of work on his main channel to avoid another strike. The thing is youtube loved his content before this crap. I knew it would affect you and other gun channels. Wtf is going on with youtube

I think its unfair to strike video's that released before the new "interpretation". I'll say, let all the videos stay. When JPvid strikes them rally the Demolitia. Let them all reach out to YT by email or phone. That would be a hassle for them.

If it's only about the magazines over 10. I think it would be funny to line up around 10 to 20 feet of 10 round mags across a bench equal amounts of each type and then do a comparison of damage video or what evers clever.

I sure hope not. Demo ranch is the very first JPvid channel I ever watched. These social media companies are getting ridiculous with their rules. I got Facebook jailed for saying my pharmacy had a drug for flu in stock when we were the only only in 4 counties that still had some. The rules are too much.

We really need to support the craters we like on Rumble if they upload there too! its really weird to me how platform locked viewers are! we complain about censorship in the comments then wont go to a different website to support them on a platform that wont ban them!

In reality, JPvid is just so widespread and easy access that everybody just wants to watch JPvid. It has the highest amount of content of any site. Sure you can go to a different site to watch other things but not the same JPvid offers.

Eventually, youtube will go so far that they will be the downfall of themselves. I have personally seen youtube channels taken down just because of their views and appreciating the freedoms we have. JPvid is becoming more and more about control, and at some point the viewers will make it irrelevant. The controversies of today will not last.

It seems so weird that platforms like JPvid, Twitch and so forth keep doing these "hidden" new rules that they don't tell their creators - or if its a rule that just hasn't been upheld, at least make sure that you all have a fair "warning" about it .. Seems to weird. Hopefully it wont do anything to your channels.

Matt (And i Hope everyone upvotes me here) you NEED to make a new streaming platform of your own, get all the gun guys, history guys, science guys, car guys and anyone else you can find together and move to your own service that YOU create, because youtube will continue to keep you just happy enough to NOT leave, while slowly tying that noose around your neck until one day they totally kill off these channels you have spent years building, as of right now you have 10 MILLION people willing to jump to that new service just to follow you and bunker brandings core group of channels.

@K Vineet But this is not an issue of monitizing. This is an issue of the leftist people at JPvid/Google taking a political stance against 10+ round magazines. It is stupid. If it is legal, they should allow it on their platform. They are supposed to be a platform, not a publisher. If they do not want to promote things that they do not agree with, that is fine, but they should be hosting it still.
