@Robert Bode Red Hawk, Gigant thor axe, Jet Gatling, Elephant gatling etc were all his finishers at some point which he now freely uses in his basic combos
@lustrous lamb he already used red hawk in his basic moveset. Straight circle combo uses red hawk. Circle Triangle(3x) uses Jet Gatling the only difference is the haki effects.
@lustrouslamb3999 you never played One piece pirate warriors 4 the only difference is with Normal luffy is infused with Conquerors haki Red Roc Gear 5 New Moveset (Gear 5) 3 new special moves (Gear 5)
It's so cool seeing these because while the manga conveys action really well there's nothing like seeing characters freely move around and do their signature moves. Top notch shit right here. It really helps me visualize how Luffy fights in real time.

I like how his base form moveset is a combination of Gear 2 and 3 as well as what he’s learned too, it really all comes together to show how much Luffy has improved in Wano and making him look like a master worthy of the title Pirate King.
his base is the exact same as the normal ts luffy with conquerors coating effects, kinda wished they changed it a bit tbh, they quite literally couldve just made this a skin and just added the extra new skills and gear 5, wouldve been better since we couldve played with gear 4 aswell
One of the amazing parts about this character is that one of the special moves is the final attack that Luffy does with Shanks to kill Tot Musica in Film Red. I think that feature is really cool.
@Bassem Elmehdawi Giant Thor Axe is when Luffy makes his foot giant and slams it down with lightning effects around it. He never did that in gear 5, its literally from Strong World. You can do it with pre-timeskip Luffy.
@John Fimson the base is just ts luffy with advanced conq. They made him an additional character so that you got 3 characters and not just 2 characters and a new skin with a transformation

A little fun fact about the Gear 5 Transfomartion. You will notice that before gear 5 is ready for fighting. He will do these bursts of Haki Lightning. These bursts acutaly do damage to enemies in a AOE. Not sure how strong said paluses are but I'd just thought to let folks know
Another info (Not fully verified) but it seem to be conqueror haki (based on the enemy death on hit) so it may go well with the perk that increase conqueror's haki damage
Its nice that this game updates as staying on track with the anime's progress. Since episode 1076 was released. We can finally have a TRUE ending against Kaido in this game.
I love how you chose the setting for your showcase and demonstration of Luffy and his Gear 5 Prowess at Enies Lobby and next to the gates taking you to Impel Down or Marineford Where better to showcase his true strength as the warrior of liberation but at the face of where their rebellion began before the 2 year timeskip
The strongest character in this game for me is Katakuri, with the right move set you can't die, you can always eat doughnut when your health is low and he clears the area really fast, can also stun-lock pretty much most bosses.
Along with a story mode that starts from the east blue and one that will surely not just be Alabasta, Enies Lobby, Sabaody/Marineford, Sabaody Redux + Dressrosa, Whole Cake, Wano and the Final Saga/War
It’s gonna happen once One Piece is finished, by that time we’ll have PW5 on the new engine and it’ll be truly epic (I truly hope it’s the next couple years and Oda doesn’t have to take too many breaks)
This is what I hope he'll be more like in the actual anime. A healthy mix between the loony tunes and serious one piece vibe. Rather than just 24/7 memeing in the battle.
The 24/7 meme thing was actually only against Kaido. Kind of a spoiler but he transformed twice in the manga after wano and he was fighting seriously in both, we haven't seen any over the top loonytoons stuff. It was a straight up fight with the occasional "ahyahyahya" laugh he does. that's all.
I wish that instead of just being a beefed up version of timeskip Luffy, he would transform into Gear 4 for certain attacks to make him stand out more.
@SNBCL360 I honestly wouldn't have cared, simply because i hate half assed ideas and implementation. If they took their time on this game, adding more polish particularly, certain things could be fixed. Maybe like Luffy's coat not flapping sporadically and having an actual programmed flow to coincide with his new moves, or maybe in a game where the main advertisement was giant characters, a certain strawhat wouldn't have such a piss poor move set. Only if they had more time to work on the characters and give the fans something of better quality. Although, it is pirate warriors, so excuse me for thinking we could've got something better with a "junk food" game like this.
@K2TMEThe thing is that no matter how good it turn out to be, there can always be a comment like yours, they must have a point to stop. They made gear 5 and then you guys can ask "why don't we have this and that too" and it's endless.

Fun fact when he transforms he expels conquers that can actually damage anyone near him also idk if it’s like cause the more you defeat enemies but you can almost stay in gear 5 for as long as you want still not sure if it’s that or something else
I love how despite being huge the Bajrang Gun is still too small compared to original manga/anime because of course they couldn't do it bigger than the map as it should ahahah
Luffy channeling his inner sonic with that Dash. Also uses a Lightning bolt as a Lightning Rod. Yeah... when i get funds im buying. This season pass is gonna be wild. Side Note: What was that Red Sun Punch he did for his Down Arrow special?
