When I first found out that Kamiya-san would be voicing Neuvillette, this is exactly how I imagined his voice. So I was surprised when in the story it turned out to be quite high-pitched and more similar to Yato’s calm voice. And now it was very nice to see such changes in the voice acting of Hiroshi Kamiya. This voice, which has become closer to Levi's voice, but a calmer and less intense version of it, is perfect Love Kamiya-san's voice acting❤️

神谷さんのキャラクターでありつつ人間味溢れる声が最高。感情の起伏は少ないが感情自体は存在するって感じる表現。クール=きつい声みたいな一辺倒の解釈せずにその人(今回は人じゃないがキャラとは言いたくなかったので)らしさ(生い立ちとか種族とかのバックボーン等含め)を追求する姿勢を勝手ながら感じる。神谷さんじゃなくても好きだったと思うけど神谷さんだったのでより好きになってしまうこと、あるある。

The VA's voice definitely can go deeper. Maybe I'm biased, I love his interpretation of Neuvillette, has a stern but gentle voice which suits what is shown as his personality at the moment in game(not sure how it'll change in the future)

My guess is they differentiate the voice between two mode (as we know neuvilette have secret personality) I remember hearing Maeno-san the VA of Zhongli said that when he first record Zhongli, he used the voice as Geo Archon and the director ask him to tone it down when being Zhongli. Maybe it's the same case with Neuvilette. Of course it's only a guess. Maybe they have different plan Edit: i don't think tone it down is the right choice of word. I forgot whether they told him to do Zhongli more softer or more approachable, not as majestic as when he is talking as Geo Archon. But i forgot the specific details. He said this in one of the genshin radio episodes if I'm not wrong

フォンテーヌの魔神任務、伝説任務をすべてクリアしてから書いてまます。最初は目つき悪いし見た目貫禄あって怖いし性格もクールで一見近寄りがたい人物なのかなって思ってたけどストーリーを見ていくうちに彼は本当に心優しい龍なんだなって感動しました。今はまだその優しい笑顔はメリュちゃんたちにしか向けられないと思うけど、いつか人間にも微笑むことができるようになることを願ってます！

it also sounds deeper to me. though, i don't think it necessarily fits him better: the previous higher tone already fitted him fine, albeit a slightly different interpretation from other voice-overs and the majority's expectation. all of them did a fantastic job in delivering and building upon neuvillette's base character, in my opinion.

@@bluepul9140 ただこのエピソードがこういう雰囲気だから低めな声で演じただけでは？PVの方の声はそのままだし。実際嫌いな人が声がでかいだけで、現に魔人任務が実装された後声に文句を言う人がだいぶ少なくなった気がする

公正厳格でありつつ、人格は優しく穏やかで、自己の感情という面で不器用なだけな方なのが最高。フリーナ様との対比が綺麗。フリーナ様は素直で親しみやすく逃げるのもお上手な俗っぽさがありつつ、自分が起こした行動で民がどうなるか、言動にまつわる責任を意識出来てない軽薄さ(ある種の残酷さ)があるから、どちらも魅力的でありながら、個々人を知れば知るほど抱く印象の変化がありそう、という所がとても興味深い。第一印象とのギャップってやつが凄そうでめっちゃ気になる。

I find Neuvillette portrayed by Hiroshi Kamiya iman interesting choice, however I think where they've brought in most of the VAs from AOT in Genshin is quite the shock tbh

Ole, no pense que ya le pusieran subtitulos al canal japonés, se agradece por ponerlos y espero que siga asi en adelante :D. Es más agradable escucharlo en JP y no ir al canal en ENG Hiroshi siempre hace un gran trabajo para sus pj's se le quiere 🦭

Veo que le sabes Algo muy curioso es que el señor Hiroshi en este PV interpreta a neuvillette con un tono de voz más grave Normalmente lo interpreta con un tono de voz más agudo y tranquilo.
