I honestly can’t decide between the $16k one and the $5k one. Both are so cool! The $5k one was so nice I loved how they really put a ton of detail, like how they put different blocks into the water to make it appear differently, they put in the hard work and it really turned out well. I also really liked how one guy was going to stab another guy on the plank of one of the boats, that was unexpected but really nice. The $16k one was shocking with its sculptures and how detailed they were. I liked the superheroes battling each other plus the fact that’s it’s an entire freaking city with a huge bridge and train tracks to lead into a more rural place. Too bad it wasn’t furnished. Both of the builds were amazing, the $5k one was more of a idk medieval time and the $16k one a more modern type. Hats off to you jimmy for organizing this and hats off to all the builders.

5k feels a lot more personal and super cool with the furnishing and credits, but the 16k was incredibly detailed with the superheroes and must have taken lots of effort. i have to say karl was right by everything he said.

As a builder myself, the 16000$ build was easily 3x more work than the 5000$ build, but honestly, I think either the 25$ or 100$ house is the best bang for buck here. Even without interior, that's a very ambitious build for not much money at all. The worst value was the 50$ house. The 10$ one was better than that one.

@VikingofDanelaw(Imperial Dev) I'm not being petty, I'm making a comparison. both builds are using methods to improve world-building, and it's negligent to call it "Random". They both obviously follow a theme, and they do it really well, because there's not much of a difference in quality once you get up to those prices. liking one over another almost entirely comes down to preference, because the only other difference is scale

I like the 5k one more based on setting preference. The 16k has sculptures which are incredibly difficult, and there are a lot of details added for things like fire and smoke, but a lot of the buildings end up being fairly simple in design as far as "tall rectangle building" goes. It also just feels like a less playable world and more just show-and-tell (which is fine because it was the point of the video). The 5k just seems more fun to play in for me.

@Abdal Samad Babar Every large scale builder uses world edit. Money doesn't change that. Half of the builds on fiver are copy and pasted from stolen templates. Paying money for a build doesn't mean dick.

I have built spawns for servers for years. When you're building a spawn area that is 6.8 million blocks you would have to be an absolute moron to not use world edit to build the larger overall structure and only use creative mode to go back through and fill in the details. Otherwise you will spend a year and a half building a spawn you definitely won't get a year and a half worth of pay out of.

@Abdal Samad Babar Every professional builder that does these builds uses world edit and litematica. Go look up Jeracraft. Nobody is going to spend 5000 hours placing millions of blocks when world edit exists. As for the voxel plotter, I already told you. Go look up "Spider-Man 3D models" and you will see the exact model they used in the exact same pose. Being as EVERY massive scale builder uses world edit and litematica, the burden of proof is on you to prove they placed every single block by hand, as THAT is the scenario that would be out of the ordinary. I don't even know why you're getting so pressed about it, it's not like you fucking built it.

The 5k one deserved it for sure. As a Minecraft builder myself, interiors and small details are what separate good builds from great builds, as they require a lot of manual work and cannot be copied and pasted as much as basic exteriors and full houses can be. To see a giant build like that have that many details, interiors, and even scenes, really shows me that the build team put their hearts into it, and didn't just blindly paste a bunch of stuff into random spots like some of the smaller builds did (the red roof castle in particular). That level of effort truly deserved to win, and I'm genuinely happy that the people who deserved it ended up winning.

I'm just gonna point out, Karl got a bit mad when his character wasn't in the Dream SMP area, but I think they did that because his character is in the castle with the Beast crew, and it wouldn't make sense to have one person in two different spots.

the builds themselves are still very impressive. however, i’d like to point out that the majority of terrains are probably created using external software and certain aspects are edited afterwards in game. it still takes an absurd amount of time, though and is very impressive.

@Patrick Sabou 😔 Builders make pillars and stuff to make it realistic because Realism = Immersion Immersion = Better feeling and build 16k one was too chaotic u don't get any Immersion which makes it less interesting, sure it's cool for a couple days but they get old. Like a present u wanted but never used

Out of the two contenders for winning, I’m glad that one won. It was just way more cohesive and realistic, and just had a nice location vibe rather than a bunch of big characters. Not to say the other one was bad, it was good, but idk, that’s a bit too pricey for that imo.

The 5k build deserved a 10 from Karl because he was already in the castle so he couldn't be at the dream SMP place he couldn't be at 2 places at the same time

For the $16000, judging from the way it looks from the video, I guess it would be better if would have focused more on making a detailed modern city rather than adding those behemoth figurines. You could add up underground tunnels, could build train stations underground, you could build huge billboards showing the logo of mr.beast, you can also build a casino, cinema, skycrapers and so much more about a modern life, you could have nailed it just like what the $5000, but they are more of a medieval vibe, they nailed it, thats why it gave a very amazing vibe. The $16000 for me is just a bit way too exagerrated and crowded😁 but nice modeling of those figurines though👍

The 5000 build has a medieval vibe but the 16k build is pretty messy considering the hero figures and they don’t have really have much of a them unlike the 5k build which had the medieval age theme
